Designations Earned:

CRS.jpgCRS (Certified Residential Specialist) - earned through accomplishments in education, experience and volume of transactions, this designation is considered the "PHD" of Real Estate.  It is the highest designation that can be awarded to a Residential Realtor.  In fact, only about 4% of all licensed Realtors can claim this designation.

Certified Relocation Specialist - earned through classroom study, identifies a Realtor as having the knowledge and skills to help companies relocate their employees to new cities and states.

  • In addition, I will help find your next home or, if you are moving out of the area, refer you to a "qualified" Realtor to help with your home buying decisions.  Before I refer a Realtor, I interview several prospects and speak with their office manager/broker.  This is my way of helping find a professional you can rely on to answer all of your questions about the local market area, including schools, neighborhoods, the local economy, and more.
  • I will present your home to as many qualified buyers as possible by giving your home maximum exposure. All listings are posted on the sites listed below and on as many as 41 different real estate websites which are available on every referring search engine (Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.).

Getting the Highest Price for Your Home

Staging the interior of the home as well as improving its curb appeal is key and could make a difference as to whether people stop and call the AVR (Activated Voice Respose) number, or drive right by.  Staging your home is important. Closing Costs to Expect:

  • Title insurance fees depend on the sales price of the home.
  • Broker's commission is a full-service fee and will cost anywhere between 5% to 7%.
  • Local property transfer tax, county transfer tax, state transfer tax, and state capital gains tax are the charges that you'll pay for the privilege of selling your home. Credit to the buyer of unpaid real estate taxes for the prior or current year are variable and depend on when you close and when your taxes are due.
  • Miscellaneous fees can accrue from correcting problems noticed during the home inspection.
